29th June 2005 saw the Golden Jubilee of five Glasgow Priests. All of them were ordained in Saint Mary's because the Cathedral was being renovated that year.

Archbishop Conti celebrated Mass for the Jubilarians in Saint Mary's to mark fifty years since they were ordained. Many priests of the Archdiocese joined in this concelebration.
